3i Infotech Limited has invoked the arbitration clause following the unilateral termination of the RailTel WiFi Monetisation Project by RailTel Corporation of India Limited. This action is in accordance with the terms of the Tender/RFP and the contract executed between the parties. An arbitration panel has been constituted, comprising three arbitrators. One arbitrator has been nominated by 3i Infotech, another by RailTel, and the third, presiding arbitrator, has been nominated by the other two. This event occurred on February 4, 2026, at 6:37 p.m. The company stated that there may not be any significant financial implications, other than potentially on account of interest due to delays in payment of disputed outstanding dues to RailTel. The exact quantum of claims will be ascertained post the conclusion of the arbitration proceedings.
