Abans Financial Services Limited (AFSL) has received an order from the Quasi-Judicial Authority for Enforcement (QJAE) of the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA). The order, dated June 03, 2026, imposes a monetary penalty of ₹8,00,000 (Rupees Eight Lakh Only) on the IFSC Branch of the company. This penalty stems from observations related to a delay in appointing a compliance officer, contributions from the sponsor, certain internal controls, various investor disclosures, asset valuation, and periodic reporting to IFSCA. The inspection for which these observations were made was for the financial year 2023-24. The company has stated that there is no material impact on its financial, operational, or other activities due to this penalty. AFSL is currently assessing its right to appeal the order.
