Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABDL) announced a change in its senior management. The Board of Directors, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, has approved the appointment of Mr. Uday Rao as Marketing Director and designated him as Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the Company. This appointment is effective from March 4, 2026. Concurrently, Ms. Roshni Chatterjee, who held the position of Marketing Director and was an SMP, has resigned from her role. Her resignation will be effective from March 13, 2026. The company has enclosed details regarding these changes as per SEBI Listing Regulations, along with Ms. Chatterjee's letter of resignation, which cites personal reasons. Mr. Uday Rao brings over 25 years of experience in marketing and commercial leadership across various industries including alcobev, consumer, telecom, insurance, and healthcare. He has previously worked with prominent organizations such as Pernod Ricard India and Vodafone. In his new role at ABDL, he will be responsible for overseeing established brands and new product development in prestige, semi-premium, and premium market categories.
