ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its subsidiary ACME Eco Clean Energy Private Limited, has commissioned an additional 8 MW of its 100 MW wind power project located in Surendaranagar, Gujarat. This follows the earlier phased commissioning of 44 MW, bringing the total commissioned capacity for this project to 52 MW. The commissioning was witnessed by officials from Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL), with a formal certificate expected shortly. This development increases ACME Solar's total operational capacity to 2,942 MW. The wind power project utilizes SANY's 4 MW turbines and is financed by Power Finance Corporation (PFC). The generated power will be sold under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.
