Adani Green Energy Limited (Company) has provided a further update regarding civil proceedings initiated by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against Mr. Gautam Adani and Mr. Sagar Adani, who are directors of the Company. These proceedings were filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. On January 30, 2026, counsel for the Defendants reportedly filed an application to accept service on behalf of the Defendants. This acceptance is without prejudice to the jurisdiction of the EDNY and reserves all defenses the Defendants may raise, including challenges to jurisdiction. The Defendants are understood to be taking procedural steps with the intention to move to dismiss the SEC's Complaint or file responsive pleadings. The Company explicitly states that it is not a party to these proceedings and no charges have been brought against it. Furthermore, reiterating its earlier clarification from November 27, 2024, the Company noted that the Defendants have not been charged with violations of the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, meaning there are no allegations of bribery or corruption against them.
