Amagi Media Labs Limited has announced a significant expansion of its Amagi NOW platform with the introduction of Agentic Media Operations. This new feature integrates reasoning agents powered by Amagi Intelligence, designed to automate key media processes and enable autonomous media operations. These capabilities aim to help media enterprises manage increasing content volumes and global distribution without a proportional rise in operational costs. The agentic capabilities address four critical areas in the media supply chain: Metadata Enrichment, Artwork Generation, Ad-Break Identification, and Localization & Captioning. The AI agents can automatically generate detailed metadata and EPG-compliant descriptions in over 25 languages, localize artwork into various platform-compliant formats, identify optimal ad break positions based on video context, and produce accurate closed captions and subtitles in 29+ languages, with translations available in over 100 languages. This move towards agentic media operations is a step towards Amagi's vision of a fully autonomous media supply chain, where AI agents handle extensive media preparation tasks. Media companies can experience these new capabilities at NAB Show 2026, Booth #W2331. Amagi, founded in 2008, is a global leader in SaaS technology for broadcast and connected TV (CTV), managing over 9,000 channel deliveries across 300+ distributors in 40+ countries.
