Angel One Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Ajit Sinha as its General Counsel, effective January 5, 2026. Mr. Sinha has joined the company, forming part of the Senior Management Personnel. This appointment follows an earlier announcement made on November 17, 2025, regarding his initial appointment. Mr. Sinha brings over 24 years of experience in corporate law, financial services, capital markets, and regulatory compliance. Previously, he served as Vice President - Legal at NSE, where he was responsible for legal strategy, governance, and risk management for both domestic and international entities. His expertise includes securities laws, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, intellectual property, and enterprise risk frameworks. Mr. Sinha has held leadership positions at Citicorp Finance and HSBC. At NSE, he played a key role in initiatives such as establishing SGX Connect and the international bullion exchange at GIFT City, as well as resolving significant disputes. He is recognized for his strategic insight, regulatory knowledge, and ability to collaborate with boards and CXOs to drive business growth.
