This order is a development in an appeal initially filed by the company on June 29, 2020, against an order from the Assistant Commissioner of State Tax Investigation. The dispute pertains to certain adjustments related to supplies made by the company under its Patient Access Program. The Deputy Commissioner of State Tax (Appeal) has upheld these adjustments. The company intends to challenge this order before the GST Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) by filing a further appeal. The quantum of claims involved is approximately ₹9.24 crore, excluding interest and penalty.
