Central Bank of India has announced changes in its senior management through promotions. These changes are effective from June 1, 2026. Shri Ajay Khanna has been promoted to Chief General Manager in the Corporate Credit Department. Mr. Khanna, aged 56, joined the bank in 1991 and possesses over 34 years of banking experience, having previously served as General Manager in the Corporate Credit Department. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). Shri Rohit Kumar has been promoted to General Manager in the Agriculture and Social Banking Department. Mr. Kumar, aged 45, joined the bank in 2002 and has over 24 years of banking experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree, an MBA in Finance, and various certifications including a Diploma in Computer Technology and a Certificate in Anti Money Laundering & KYC. Previously, he was the Deputy General Manager in the Agriculture and Social Banking Department. Shri Pichayya has been promoted to General Manager and will serve as Zonal Head for Hyderabad. Mr. Pichayya, aged 57, joined the bank in 1993 and has over 33 years of banking experience. He holds a Post Graduate Degree in Commerce and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). He was previously the Zonal Head of the Hyderabad Zone.
