CESC Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Rajeev Chowdhury as the Head of Regulatory Affairs, effective from June 3, 2026. This change in senior management personnel is in compliance with Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Mr. Chowdhury brings 28 years of extensive experience in the power sector, with a focus on regulatory affairs, policy advocacy, tariff strategy, compliance governance, and sector reforms. He holds a PGDM from XIMB and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. His prior roles include Director & Group Head, Regulatory at BSES, and positions at PwC, Ortel Communication, and Architect Consulate. He has a proven track record in leading regulatory strategy and engagement with key stakeholders such as CERC, SERCs, and the Ministry of Power. The company has provided the necessary details of Mr. Chowdhury as per SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD1/P/CIR/2023/123, dated July 13, 2023, in an annexure to the announcement. His term of appointment is not applicable as he is in full-time employment with CESC Limited.
