Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DPIL) has announced the successful commissioning of its 8th Medium Voltage (MV) / Extra High Voltage (EHV) Power Cable Production Line at its manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat. This expansion significantly enhances the company's capacity to produce technologically advanced MV and EHV underground power cables. The new production line will cater to the growing demand for cables used in power transmission networks, power generation projects, renewable energy evacuation systems, urban underground distribution networks, metro rail systems, airports, data centers, and industrial infrastructure. Furthermore, DPIL is in the process of installing and commissioning two additional MV/EHV production lines, which are expected to be operational by March 31, 2027. Upon completion, the Vadodara facility will operate a total of 10 MV/EHV production lines.
