Eicher Motors Limited announced its monthly sales volume update for VE Commercial Vehicles Limited (VECV), an unlisted subsidiary, for the month of February 2026. The total sales volume for Eicher Trucks and Buses (inclusive of EVs) stood at 9,766 units, marking a significant increase of 23.5% compared to 7,909 units in February 2025. For the domestic market, Eicher saw a 24.6% year-on-year growth, with total domestic sales reaching 9,165 units in February 2026, up from 7,357 units in the previous year. Specifically, domestic SCV/LMD Trucks (< 18.5T) grew by 41.3% to 4,947 units, and HD Trucks (≥18.5T) increased by 54.1% to 2,588 units. However, LMD Bus sales declined by 21.4% to 1,537 units, and HD Bus sales dropped by 58.3% to 93 units. In terms of exports, VECV's total exports grew by 8.9% to 601 units in February 2026, compared to 552 units in February 2025. VECV's total sales volume, including all segments and exports, reached 9,986 units in February 2026, a 23.4% increase from 8,092 units in February 2025. Year-to-date figures also show robust growth, with total VECV sales at 90,184 units for FY26, a 15.5% increase over 78,067 units in FY25.
