Escorts Kubota Limited has announced the launch of its new Powertrac Shaurya series, a dedicated range of five tractor variants specifically designed for paddy cultivation in Southern India. These tractors, spanning 39 HP to 52 HP, are engineered for wetland and waterlogged field conditions, featuring enhanced maneuverability with a 3.1-meter turning radius and advanced sealing to prevent water and mud ingress. The series includes a fully constant mesh gearbox with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears, Sensi-1 hydraulic lift (1600-2000 kg), and independent PTO lever with double clutch for controlled implement operations. The launch aims to strengthen the company's presence in key mechanization segments in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. Nikhil Nanda, Chairman and Managing Director, stated that the launch aligns with the company's objective to deepen its presence in paddy markets and expand its regional footprint in Southern India. Akira Kato, Deputy Managing Director, emphasized that Shaurya has been engineered to deliver reliability in demanding paddy and wetland operations. The Shaurya series will be available across authorized Powertrac dealerships in Southern India.
