Gandhar Oil Refinery (India) Limited has announced receiving a favorable order from the Office of the Commissioner of Customs (Appeals), Mumbai Customs Zone – I. The order, dated 30th April 2026 and received by the company on 6th May 2026, sanctions a refund claim of ₹22,92,06,499 (22.92 crore) against two claims filed for the periods 2018-19 and 2019-20. The appeal for refund was filed by the company, and the Commissioner of Customs (Appeals) found the refund claim to be admissible and has sanctioned it. The company anticipates that this order in its favor will augment its working capital.
