Gland Pharma Limited announced the re-appointment of Ms. Naina Lal Kidwai as an Independent Director for a second term of five consecutive years. This decision was approved by the Board of Directors at their meeting held on April 09, 2026. The new term for Ms. Kidwai will be effective from May 17, 2026, and will continue until May 16, 2031. The approval of the company's members for this re-appointment will be sought through a postal ballot and e-voting within the stipulated timelines. Ms. Kidwai brings extensive experience to the board, currently serving as Chairman of Rothschild & Co India, Senior Advisor for Advent Private Equity, and Venture Advisor for Lightspeed Venture Partners. She is also a Non-Executive Director on the boards of Holcim, UPL, and Biocon. Her previous roles include Executive Director on the Board of HSBC Asia Pacific and Chairman of HSBC India. She is a recipient of the Padma Shri and has significant engagements in areas of environment, water, sanitation, and women's empowerment.
