Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (GSFC) has announced a change in its directorship. Dr. Rajender Kumar, IAS, has been appointed as the Managing Director of the company, effective January 3, 2026. This appointment follows an order issued by the General Administrative Department, Government of Gujarat. Concurrently, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, IAS, has resigned from his position as Managing Director of GSFC, effective January 2, 2026. His resignation is in consequence of the Government of Gujarat's order relieving him from the additional charge of Managing Director. Dr. Rajender Kumar has confirmed that he is not debarred from holding the office of Director by any SEBI order or other authority, and he is not related to any existing Director of the Company. The company will complete the necessary statutory procedures and compliances to formally induct Dr. Rajender Kumar as Managing Director and Key Managerial Personnel, subject to the approval of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Board.
