Hindalco Industries Limited, the metals flagship of the Aditya Birla Group, is expanding its high-performance aluminium window systems business with the launch of its flagship Eternia experience centre in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. This expansion is aimed at catering to India's evolving building and construction landscape. The company is also strengthening its manufacturing presence in North India with a new facility in Bilaspur, Gurugram. Eternia, which has seen nearly 65% CAGR growth over the last three years, is targeting over ₹1,000 crore in revenue by FY29. This growth is expected to be driven by category expansion, a nationwide partner network, and enhanced manufacturing capabilities. The brand currently operates through over 170 channel partners across 100 cities. The launch addresses the growing demand in India's building and construction sector for premium, performance-led, and system-driven solutions. The windows and façade segment in India is an estimated ₹40,000 crore market, with premium segments growing at approximately 15% CAGR. Eternia utilizes Duranium™, a patented aluminium alloy that is 40% stronger than conventional aluminium, and its products are rigorously tested against global and Indian standards. Mr. Satish Pai, Managing Director, Hindalco Industries Limited, stated that Eternia represents a shift from fragmented fabrication to precision-engineered window systems, offering enhanced performance, reliability, and consistency. The new experience centre in Lajpat Nagar provides an immersive space for homeowners, architects, and developers to explore design, performance, and customization options. The Bilaspur manufacturing hub, spread across 120,000 sq. ft., will have a capacity to produce up to 250,000 sq. ft. of windows per month. This facility includes a dedicated R&D centre for product development and a training centre to upskill fabricators and installers. It is also expected to create employment for over 300 people.
