Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) has informed that the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) initiated a search operation at the company's premises on June 01, 2026, which concluded on June 03, 2026, at 04:10 AM. The search was conducted under the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999. The company stated that it cannot ascertain at this point of time the details of any penalty or restriction or sanction imposed. The officers of the Company provided all necessary information, documents, and clarifications as sought by the ED, and the company will take appropriate action in due course. Hindustan Zinc Limited has confirmed that there is no impact on the financial, operational, or other activities of the company quantifiable in monetary terms.
