The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced strong growth momentum in the first quarter of FY2027, with the signing of 20 new hotels and the opening of 11 hotels. This expansion brings IHCL's total portfolio to 645 hotels, featuring over 66,000 keys, and an industry-leading pipeline of 263 hotels. During the quarter, IHCL focused on its growth brands, with seventeen of the twenty signings occurring across Gateway, Ginger, and Tree of Life. These signings include new destinations and emerging markets such as Bharatpur, Trichy, Sindhudurg, Jawai, and Wayanad, alongside deeper penetration in established markets like Mumbai, Goa, Agra, and Kolkata. The Taj brand achieved a significant milestone of 150 hotels with three new signings, expanding its leisure footprint in Dharamshala, Barapani (Meghalaya), and Kusur Valley (Maharashtra). IHCL is strategically positioned to achieve its goal of a 700-hotel portfolio under its 'Accelerate 2030' roadmap. The company expanded its operating portfolio to over 380 hotels across its brands and markets with the 11 hotel openings in the quarter. International presence was strengthened with the opening of Taj Hessischer Hof in Frankfurt and Taj Bush Lodge in Greater Kruger, South Africa. The SeleQtions portfolio added Ayodhayam in Ayodhya and Bandra House in Mumbai, while Gateway expanded with a new hotel in Kandla. Ginger continued its growth with openings in Hyderabad, Agra, Kota, Gadchiroli, and Siwan.
