InterGlobe Aviation Limited (IndiGo) has announced the temporary suspension of operations to six international destinations: Langkawi, Krabi, Ho Chi Minh, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Siem Reap. This decision is attributed to traditionally softer demand in the upcoming quarter and a challenging cost environment. Operations to Langkawi, Krabi, Ho Chi Minh, Hong Kong, and Shanghai will be suspended starting July 1, 2026, while Siem Reap will see suspension from July 3, 2026. All affected services are slated to resume on October 1, 2026. IndiGo stated that it is prepared to reinstate these services earlier if market conditions become favorable. Despite these adjustments, IndiGo will maintain over 1,800 weekly international flights, indicating a strategic realignment of capacity to match current market conditions and demand trends. The airline will continue to monitor the elevated operating costs and airspace restrictions. IndiGo is proactively informing affected customers and advises passengers to check flight information before their journeys. About IndiGo: IndiGo is India's preferred airline, operating over 2,200 daily flights with a fleet of more than 400 aircraft, connecting over 95 domestic and 40 international destinations.
