JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited (JB Chemicals) has announced that the Scheme of Amalgamation with Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited has become effective on July 8, 2026. This follows the approval and sanction of the Scheme by the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal, Ahmedabad Bench, via its order dated July 6, 2026, the certified copy of which was received on July 7, 2026. Both Torrent Pharma and JB Chemicals filed the certified copies of the Order and the Scheme with the Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, on July 8, 2026. As a consequence, JB Chemicals stands amalgamated into and with Torrent Pharma and is dissolved without being wound up. The Appointed Date for this amalgamation is January 21, 2026.
