Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has expanded its presence in Tamil Nadu by inaugurating a new branch in Villivakkam, Chennai. This new branch, the Bank's 903rd nationwide, is located at No. 12/4, Sidco Nagar. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. M. S. Shanmugam, I.A.S., Principal Secretary / Commissioner of Tourism & Managing Director - TTDC, and Dr. Vasantha Gowri, Trustee of KRM Group of Schools. Shri Ramesh Babu, Managing Director & CEO of Karur Vysya Bank, emphasized the branch's role in bringing modern banking services closer to the residents and businesses of Villivakkam and surrounding areas. He highlighted KVB's commitment to supporting the community through tailored financial solutions and digital payment tools, reinforcing Tamil Nadu's importance in the bank's growth strategy. The new branch is strategically positioned to serve both residential and commercial needs, aiming to enhance financial accessibility and support regional development. KVB continues to offer a comprehensive suite of digital banking services, including its upgraded mobile banking application, KVB DLite, which features over 150 financial and non-financial functionalities. As of March 31, 2026, Karur Vysya Bank reported a total business of ₹2,14,420 crore, with deposits amounting to ₹1,15,666 crore and advances of ₹98,754 crore. The Bank achieved a record annual net profit of ₹2,510 crore for FY26 and operates through a network of 903 branches and over 2,228 ATMs and cash recyclers.
