KEC International Ltd. has announced the securing of new orders totaling ₹2,518 crores across its various business segments. The Civil business has notably received its largest-ever commercial real estate order from a prominent developer in Western India. The Transportation business has secured an order in a Joint Venture for the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) segment, also known as ‘Kavach’, in India. This segment is crucial for enhancing railway safety. In the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector, KEC has won orders for 400/132/66 kV Transmission lines in Africa, additional orders for Transmission lines and Substations in international markets, and supply of towers and hardware/poles in Europe and the Americas. The Cables & Conductors business has also secured orders for various types of cables and conductors in both Indian and overseas markets. Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International Ltd., expressed delight with the order wins, highlighting the significance of the largest commercial real estate order and the strengthening presence in the TCAS segment. He also noted the diversification of the international T&D order book and a recovery in the African T&D market.
