Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (M&M) has announced the completion of the sale of its remaining 20% paid-up share capital in Blue Planet Integrated Waste Solutions Private Limited (BPIWS PL) to Blue Planet Environmental Solutions India Private Limited (BPES India), an affiliate of Blue Planet Environmental Solutions Pte Ltd (BPES). The transaction, which took place on March 2, 2026, at 2:32 p.m., signifies that M&M's shareholding in BPIWS PL has reduced to NIL, and consequently, BPIWS PL is no longer an associate company of M&M. This sale is a follow-up to the Share Purchase Agreement and Shareholders Agreement executed on September 13, 2022. The consideration received from this sale amounts to approximately ₹5.07 crore. For the financial year ended March 31, 2025, BPIWS PL reported a gross revenue of approximately ₹5.97 crore. Its net worth as of March 31, 2025, was approximately ₹9.03 crore, contributing about ₹1.81 crore or 0.002% to M&M's consolidated net worth (excluding non-controlling interest). BPES India is engaged in providing waste management solutions and does not belong to the promoter, promoter group, or group companies of M&M, other than its shareholding in BPIWS PL. The transaction does not fall within related party transactions and is not part of a scheme of arrangement.
