Max India Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Antara Senior Care, has launched a new Integrative Wellness Clinic (AIWC) in Gurugram. This clinic is purpose-built for managing chronic conditions by combining modern medicine with evidence-based holistic therapies. The AIWC aims to provide personalized care plans through a multidisciplinary team of doctors, addressing the root cause of illnesses rather than just symptoms, focusing on the mind, body, and spirit. Ms. Tara Singh Vachani, Executive Chairperson of Antara Senior Care, stated that the clinic is an answer to preserving seniors' dignity and independence, emphasizing that good health is a combination of physical, emotional, mental, and social wellbeing. Mr. Rajit Mehta, CEO & MD, highlighted the goal of helping seniors live their best lives by preventing hospital visits, reducing medication, and restoring function. The clinic's offerings include functional medicine consultations, Ayurveda prakriti analysis, advanced therapies like IV cellular nutrition and ozone therapy, classical Ayurveda, acupuncture, energy healing, and integrative counseling. Care is organized through 10 condition-focused programs, including JointCare, HeartCare, DiabetesCare, and CancerCare. This initiative is particularly relevant given India's growing senior population, which is projected to more than double to 347 million by 2050, presenting unique healthcare needs.
