Orient Electric Limited has published newspaper advertisements in the Financial Express and Odisha Bhaskar regarding the transfer of unclaimed dividend amounts and/or underlying shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). Shareholders whose dividends remain unclaimed for seven consecutive years are being notified. The company is reminding shareholders that unpaid/unclaimed final dividend for FY 2018-19, along with the corresponding shares, are due for transfer to the IEPF. This transfer will occur within 30 days from August 17, 2026, upon completion of the seven-year period as per Section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013. Shareholders are urged to claim their unpaid or unclaimed dividends by July 17, 2026, by submitting the required documents to KFin Technologies Limited, the Registrar and Share Transfer Agent. Failure to claim by this date will result in the transfer of unclaimed dividend amounts and shares to the IEPF without further notice. The company has also highlighted the IEPF Authority's "Saksham Niveshak" Programme, running from April 1, 2026, to July 9, 2026, aimed at educating investors on unclaimed dividends and KYC updates.
