The Orissa Minerals Development Company Limited (OMDC) has filed two separate Special Leave Petitions (SLPs) with the Supreme Court of India. These appeals are in response to an order dated 09.12.2025, passed by the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta. The High Court had dismissed two appeals previously filed by OMDC, affirming a judgment and order by the ADJ, 4th Court, Barasat, and an award by the Arbitral Tribunal. OMDC filed these appeals to the Supreme Court on 19.12.2025, with the SLPs bearing Diary Numbers 73816/2025 and 73842/2025. This action follows the Calcutta High Court's decision to dismiss OMDC's appeals concerning a matter involving Jai Balaji Industries Limited.
