Oswal Solar Energy Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Oswal Pumps Limited, has received an order valued at approximately ₹39.40 crore (including GST) for the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 7.46 MWp Grid Connected Rooftop Solar (RTS) Plants. The order, awarded by M/s Swashakthi Energy, is for 3,729 SC & ST Consumers through Utility Led Aggregation (CAPEX) Mode under the PM - Surya Ghar: Mufti Bijli Yojana in APDISCOMs. The scope includes a five-year Operation & Maintenance (O&M) period. Mr. Vivek Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of Oswal Pumps Limited, stated that this order marks a significant milestone in the company's commitment to renewable energy transition and strengthens its presence in the rooftop solar segment. He also noted the Union Budget's enhanced allocation for the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, which has increased from ₹17,000 crore to ₹22,000 crore, creating a favorable environment for such projects.
