Ramky Infrastructure Limited (RIL) has secured an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project from Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (MITL), a special purpose vehicle with equity participation from the Government of India and the Maharashtra State Government. The project involves the design, construction, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure works at Dighi Port Industrial Area (DPIA), Phase I Package A on EPC Basis. The infrastructure work encompasses roads, water distribution network, industrial effluent collection network, domestic sewage collection network, recycle water distribution network, stormwater drainage network, power distribution network, information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure components and a water treatment plant. The EPC works are to be completed within 930 days from the appointed date. Operations and Maintenance (O&M) is for a period of 4 years from the date of issuance of completion certificate, with a possible extension of another 6 years upon mutual agreement. The total contract value is ₹1,401 crore (approx.), inclusive of GST and O&M revenues, and will be released in stages as agreed in the agreement. With this contract, Ramky Infrastructure Limited (RIL) aims to establish itself as a key player in executing Industrial and Urban Infra projects.
