RattanIndia Power Limited has announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025. The company reported a significant improvement in its operational and financial performance. For the third quarter of FY26, RattanIndia Power achieved an EBITDA of ₹226 crore, marking a 60% increase compared to ₹141 crore in the second quarter of FY26. Total income for Q3 FY26 rose by 11% to ₹836 crore from ₹753 crore in Q2 FY26. The Amravati plant demonstrated strong operational efficiency, maintaining a Plant Load Factor (PLF) of 79% and a Plant Availability Factor (PAF) of 86%, positioning it among the best-performing plants in Maharashtra. Financially, for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, the company reported a Profit Before Tax of ₹52.76 crore, a substantial turnaround from a loss of ₹33.02 crore in the previous quarter. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹835.90 crore. For the nine months ended December 31, 2025, the total income was ₹2518.60 crore, with a Profit Before Tax of ₹5.14 crore. In regulatory news, the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL) allowed RattanIndia Power's appeal on May 8, 2025 (modified on May 15, 2025), concerning 'Change in Law' claims related to ash utilization, surface transportation, and sizing charges. The company filed a remand petition with MERC on July 10, 2025, seeking payment directions from MSEDCL. However, MSEDCL filed a Civil Appeal in the Supreme Court on August 4, 2025, challenging the APTEL order. The matters are currently subjudice. The company also highlighted the overall power sector trends, noting robust generation growth in India, with thermal power plants continuing to be the backbone of electricity generation. The demand for power in Maharashtra has also shown a steady increase.
