Sansera Engineering Limited has announced a strategic joint venture with Japan-based Nichidai Corporation to manufacture precision forged and machined parts in aluminium and steel. The JV will focus on components for differential assemblies, compressors, driveline, and other advanced automotive parts not currently manufactured by Sansera, for sale in India and overseas markets. The Board of Directors of Sansera approved the execution of the Joint Venture Agreement on January 29, 2026. The JV will operate through a newly incorporated company in Bengaluru, India, where Sansera will hold a 60% stake and Nichidai will hold 40%. The initial authorized equity share capital is proposed to be ₹2,00,00,000, with an initial paid-up share capital of ₹2,00,000. Nichidai will exclusively supply tooling and technical know-how to the JV Company in India. The JV Company, tentatively named Nichidai Sansera Private Limited, is expected to be operational within 12 months from the disclosure date. Sansera's investment in the JV Company is approved up to ₹500.00 million in one or more tranches. This collaboration aims to diversify Sansera's product portfolio, access new customer segments and international markets, and strengthen its competitive positioning in the automotive value chain.
