Shipping Corporation of India Limited (SCI) has announced changes in its senior management team, effective June 2, 2026. Capt. Pankaj Kumar has been appointed as Deputy General Manager (SVC Tec & Com and DD & RBS). Concurrently, Mr. Naveen Kumar, Deputy General Manager (Purchase & Services Division), and Mr. Udaynath Mallik, Deputy General Manager (DD-Repair Bill Cell), have ceased their roles in these positions. These changes are attributed to internal organizational reporting adjustments. Capt. Pankaj Kumar has a distinguished career with SCI, beginning in 1995. He has served on various vessels and held shore-based roles in Fleet Personnel and Tanker Technical departments. He holds an Economics degree, an MBA in Operations, and an LLB. He also earned a Master's Degree in Maritime Affairs from WMU, where he was recognized as the best student in Shipping Management & Logistics. He is currently serving as DGM in Charge (SVC Technical and Commercial) in the Bulk and Tanker Division and will now assume additional charge of the Repair Bill and Dry Dock Cell.
