Tata Motors Limited announced its commercial vehicle sales for February 2026, reporting a significant year-on-year (YoY) growth of 32%. The company sold a total of 42,940 commercial vehicle units in February 2026, compared to 32,533 units sold in February 2025. Domestic sales for commercial vehicles in February 2026 stood at 40,893 units, an increase of 32.8% compared to 30,797 units in the previous year. The international business contributed 2,047 units, marking a 17.9% YoY increase from 1,736 units in February 2025. Within the domestic market, the Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) trucks segment saw a 37.1% YoY growth, with sales reaching 13,559 units. Intermediate and Light Commercial Vehicle (ILMCV) trucks recorded a 34.1% YoY increase to 7,577 units. Passenger carriers grew by 27.4% YoY to 5,548 units, and SCV cargo and pickup vehicles increased by 30.4% YoY to 14,209 units. Domestic sales of Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (MH&ICV) in February 2026 were 21,423 units, up 34.4% from 15,940 units in February 2025. Total domestic and international sales for MH&ICV reached 22,512 units in February 2026, compared to 16,693 units in February 2025, representing a 34.9% YoY growth. Tata Motors Limited, part of the USD 180 billion Tata Group, is India's largest commercial vehicle manufacturer. The company's name change from TML Commercial Vehicles Limited to Tata Motors Limited was effective from October 29, 2025, with its shares listed on BSE and NSE effective November 12, 2025.
