Tata Steel Limited has successfully completed the acquisition of the remaining 10,000 equity shares, representing 0.01% of the shareholding, in its subsidiary Tata Steel Colors Private Limited (formerly Tata BlueScope Steel Private Limited), for a consideration of ₹0.03 crore. This transaction was finalized on April 9, 2026, as per the terms of the Share Purchase Agreement executed on November 12, 2025. The shares were acquired from BlueScope Steel Asia Holdings Pty Ltd. Following this acquisition, Tata Steel's shareholding in Tata Steel Colors Private Limited has increased from 99.99% to 100%. Consequently, Tata Steel Colors Private Limited is now an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Steel Limited.
