Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) announced its audited standalone and consolidated interim financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The Board of Directors, in a meeting held on July 9, 2026, approved and took on record these results. During the meeting, the Board declared an interim dividend of ₹12 per equity share of ₹1 each. This interim dividend will be paid on Friday, July 31, 2026, to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members or as beneficial owners in the depositories' records as of Wednesday, July 15, 2026, which has been fixed as the Record Date. The company also reported its financial performance for the quarter. For the three months ended June 30, 2026, the consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹72,275 crore. The profit before tax was ₹17,944 crore, and the profit for the period after tax was ₹13,420 crore. Earnings per equity share (basic and diluted) were ₹36.90. Standalone revenue from operations for the same period was ₹59,553 crore, with profit before tax at ₹17,709 crore and profit for the period after tax at ₹13,642 crore. The standalone earnings per equity share (basic and diluted) were ₹36.90. Note 2 in the financial results details a legal claim by Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). Following the US Supreme Court's denial of TCS's petition for a writ of certiorari on June 15, 2026, TCS provided an additional ₹668 crore towards exemplary damages and costs awarded to CSC in the standalone statement of profit and loss for the period ended June 30, 2026, disclosed as "Settlement of legal claim" under Exceptional items. Additionally, ₹69 crore was provided for interest paid until the settlement date.
