Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a strategic partnership with premium tire manufacturer Nokian Tyres PLC. This collaboration aims to advance Nokian Tyres' IT transformation through AI-led modernization. TCS will enhance Nokian Tyres' use of artificial intelligence across application management, development, and onsite support services. The engagement seeks to improve IT operational efficiency, resilience, and scalability by accelerating the adoption of new working methods, addressing evolving business needs, and enabling greater use of automation and data-driven services. The AI-led and agentic automation embedded in IT operations are expected to expedite issue resolution, reduce operational costs, and strengthen resilience through a unified digital infrastructure. TCS will provide end-to-end application management services, including development, maintenance, and support for systems critical to engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, and corporate functions. Timmy McLellan, Chief Information Officer at Nokian Tyres, stated that the partnership will establish a globally unified, agile, and efficient operating model supporting business needs and creating a foundation for adopting next-generation technologies. Anupam Singhal, President of Manufacturing at TCS, highlighted that this collaboration aligns with the next era of manufacturing, characterized by intelligence at scale, digital ecosystems, AI-enabled operations, and adaptive technologies to build more resilient and sustainable enterprises. Nokian Tyres reported net sales of EUR 1.4 billion in 2025. TCS generated consolidated revenues of over US $30 billion in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026.
