The decision was made by the Board of Directors on January 30, 2026, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Geena Malhotra's appointment is effective from February 1, 2026. Geena Malhotra brings a wealth of experience spanning nearly four decades in the pharmaceutical sector, with expertise in R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and sustainability. She previously served as the Global CTO and President at Cipla Ltd. and is currently the Managing Director of Signe Excipients. Her career includes significant contributions to product development, operational excellence, and innovation, with a notable role in obtaining approximately 50 international patents. Malhotra holds an Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from SNDT University, Mumbai.
